In keeping with J.H. Ryder Machinery’s commitment to our customers’
safety, we offer a full range of products to help you improve material
handling safety in your operation.
Flood Lights
Entrance forward and rear lighting, increase visibility and warn oncoming
traffic with rectangular halogen or traditional incandescent utility and
auxiliary lights.
Strobe Lights
Strobe lights alert pedestrian traffic and other operators of an approaching
lift truck. They are especially useful in areas where several lift trucks
operate in close proximity.
Light Panel
The Ryder Multi-Functional Light neatly combines tow working and
two brake lights with a strobe light in one heavy duty casing. The single
unit design emphasizes simplicity by eliminating excessive wiring and
multiple installations.
Alarms
Back-up or travel alarms alert other operators and pedestrians that a
lift truck is moving in the area. Available in variable or constant volume.
Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers can be mounted directly on a lift truck for a quick
response in the event of an emergency. Many types and sizes of extinguishers
are available.
Secondary Products
Chains
Replace worn or stretched chains before they cause operational failures.
Forks
Heel wear and metal fatigue in the forks can create a potential safety
hazard in your operation. Regular inspection and replacement help reduce
the risk of breakdown of your forks during operation.
Tires
Traction, braking and acceleration are all affected by the quality of
your tires.
Safety Labels
Safety labels placed on a lift truck warn of potential hazards and help
prevent accidents.
Seat Belts
Seat belts keep drivers within the protection of the guard and chassis
should the machine tip or stop suddenly.
Annual Inspection
Our comprehensive safety inspection reviews chain, forks, tires and 20
other points on your lift truck. After the inspection, we’ll provide you
with our recommendations for repair or replacement.
